“Us “or “we” means Jo Chauffeurs
“you” and “your” means any individual, company or other business who places the booking with us
2) Booking & transfer
2.1) Completion of the booking, transfer and use of service indicates your acceptance of the terms & conditions set out in this
2.2) Jo Chauffeurs will allow enough time for the chauffeur to reach the destination for the passengers ready for collection at the
booked time. We allow 10 minutes free waiting time from booking time for any bookings apart from airport pickups. For all airport
bookings, Jo Chauffeurs will monitor the flight and adjust the booking accordingly. All airport bookings include 60 minutes free
waiting time and parking charge for the first hour from plane landing. We will charge for waiting time and parking our standard rates
after the initial free period has expired.
2.3) You must allow enough time when booking your vehicle to allow for the check in times required by your airline and for any
potential delays caused by traffic conditions.
2.4) Any special requests need to be specified at the time of booking.
2.5) You must order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage. Jo Chauffeurs cannot guarantee to carry excessive
amounts of luggage. Please note that a child, no matter what age, counts as one passenger. We will not carry more passengers than
its insurance or license allows.
2.6) Drinking and/or smoking in the cars is not permitted.
3.1) Jo Chauffeurs will email you the quotation based on the information supplied by the enquirer. We may amend the quotation if
there is any material change to the original itinerary, the number of passengers, or the type or size of vehicle required. Prices could
be subject to additional charge, such as additional waiting time, parking or destinations, beyond terms set out in paragraph 2.2.
3.2) Upon confirmation of booking, an invoice will be sent for the full amount.
3.3) All bookings must be prepaid in full 2 days before the date of travel, unless otherwise specified by Jo Chauffeurs. Payment
accepted by debit or credit card, bank transfer or PayPal. We do not accept cheques.
3.4) We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim debt and compensation for debt recovery costs, if we are not paid
according to agreed terms.
4.1) Please notify Jo Chauffeurs of any cancellations as soon as possible.
4.2) Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the date of travel will be fully refunded.
4.3) Cancelation fee of 50% will apply to any bookings cancelled in the 12 hours prior to the booking or 100% of the booking price if
cancelled 4 hours prior to the booking. We reserve the right to invoice you for the cancellation fee if the journey wasn’t prepaid.
4.4) Jo Chauffeurs has the right to cancel all services and provide refunds in the event of a declared national declared emergency,
riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather or other circumstances beyond its control.
5.1) Jo Chauffeurs will endeavour to get you to your destination on time but shall not be liable for any loss due or delays caused by
vehicle breakdown or road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey.
5.2) Jo Chauffeurs will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profits or business.
5.3) If there is a vehicle breakdown or problem, Jo Chauffeurs will endeavour to arrange alternative transport to complete the
journey as soon as practicable.
5.4) Any loss, damage, costs or expenses caused by any act or omission by the passenger(s) will be reimbursed to Jo Chauffeurs
5.5 Jo Chauffeurs will refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if it places any driver or vehicle at risk of damage,
violence or abuse by you or by any passenger in your party and we will ask all passengers to vacate the vehicle as soon as it is safe to
do so. No refunds will be given if the journey is terminated part way through the hire.
5.6 Jo Chauffeurs reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time
6.1) UK law states that taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in a baby/child seat or booster. If you require
a child seat for your journey it would be the child’s parent/carers responsibility to provide one and to fit the seat in the vehicle and
to secure the child, but we will do our best to accommodate one it if possible. Please state in special requirements that you require
a child seat, otherwise we will assume it will be provided by you.
7.1) Any complain is to be made in writing by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org We take our customers seriously and we aim to
reply to any complain within 48 hours, however circumstances might be that we are not able to deal with your complain within this
time frame and we may take up to 14 days to reply.
